The swellingmechanism of Cicowaterstop®SWmakes it smart water stop system, for it doesn’tstart swelling unless eight hours pass after concrete is poured, when itbecomes confined.
It willnot commence swelling if exposed to the washing water or rain water, cause itis covered by thin layer of protection powder that doesn’t dissolve by water.
Afterconcrete hardening, and if water passed by the cold joints or through cracks,the Cicowaterstop®SW section will swell blocking the water passage.
